Master Assistant Coach

Latisha is a graduate and former volleyball player with the University of Houston. She has earned athletic honors as an AVCA All Regional Performer, All Conference, First Team All Tournament at the NIVC, and was a member of the Southwest Conference All Decade Team. In addition, Latisha was the captain of the United States Olympic Festival North team. Her coaching experience includes First Assistant Coach at the University of Houston, First Assistant Coach at Rice University and several years of club coaching experience as well as starting a girl’s athletic program at a local private school.

Latisha joined the coaching staff of Willowbrook in 2008 with the 11’s and in 2008-09 coached the 12-Red team. Her coined athletic coaching phrase is D + A = S (Discipline + Action = Success). The chances of Success and high performance are increased if an athlete can remain Disciplined in the skills and training taught, and put forth aggressive Action toward those learned skills.
