Fall League
Fall Instructional League - Will Open July 1st
We are excited to announce that Willowbrook is partnering with the Tornados to
jointly run the competitive portion of the League again in 2013. This will result in better training and competition
for all developing players, city-wide. Read on for more details!
The Fall League is a six-week program, meeting once a week, that
will combine individual training and team play.
This program is designed for beginning, intermediate, and advanced 3rd-6th grade volleyball players who are interested in growing their knowledge of the game.
School groups
are also encouraged to join and improve their game together.
This league is designed around Willowbrook's philosophy of technical training while still having fun! The league will concentrate on the basic skills of individual and team play, player roles and court responsibilities. The players will learn and be drilled on the fundamental skills that are necessary to become a good volleyball player.
The program is structured around a few practice sessions, followed by competitive league play on Sundays (TBA). The practices and competition nights will be run by experienced Willowbrook Club coaches.
Come join the Fall Instructional Volleyball League and work to become a fundamentally sound volleyball player while having fun in the process!
Willowbrook’s 12th Annual Fall League Schedule
The league starts on Monday, September 9 6-8pm and will conclude with a Championship Tournament TBA beginning at 8:00am. Note: The two Sunday play dates (TBA) will alternate between Willowbrook Sports Complex and Tornados Training Facility.
